Icontrol Surface Control Unit

The Icontrol is used in conjunction with the R100 and automatically recognises the Icone and the other available plug in sensors, sensors and monitors the status in real time of the R100.

Measuring the depth, inclination during deployment and providing a health status to ensure all sensors are operational and signals are strong between the Icontrol topside and the Icontrol subsea.

The Icontrol controls the testing functions of the R100 and monitors the penetration rate during the testing; the Ifield software is installed onto the Icontrol surface unit which enables the operators to process and store the data.

The Data is displayed initially on the screen in a numerical and graphical form; the data can be processed on the vessel or easily be e-mailed to be processed onshore.
